National Electrical Code Significant Changes
This is a presentation of major changes of the 2017 National Electrical Code (NEC). This course is for residential, commercial or industrial installers to identify the change, the intent of the rule change, and also to explain how the change will affect field installations. The seminar covers the significant changes and includes information on interpretations by the code-making panels. This course can be broken into smaller CEU segments as needed. This course is approved for 4, 8 or 12 hours CEU’s in Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, Utah.
Course Outcomes & Objectives: To understand the changes and to help educate other inspectors and electricians understand the significant changes. Attendees should be able to apply the information for safer electrical installations for the protection of persons and property. There will be open discussion and provide clarify of intended changes affecting the changes on field installed electrical installations.

Course Description: 4, 8 or 12-hour overview of the significant changes for the 2017 National Electrical Code. This course will provide a Power Point presentation to meet the minimum requirements for individuals who hold an Electrical License in the states of Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, and Utah.
Understand the new requirements of NFPA-70, National Electrical Code, electrical code changes.

This course is designed for journeyman electricians, supervising (master) electricians, electrical trainees, and apprentice electricians. CEU credits will be provided and submitted to the state license by the educational provider.
